Leonard Nimoy plans to beam himself out of showbiz.
The 79-year-old, best known for playing Spock in the original Star Trek series, wants to hang up his pointy ears and hinted he may head for retirement, after acting for 60 years.
“I’ve been doing this professionally for 60 years, I love the idea of going out on a positive note – I’ve had a great, great time,” he told the Toronto Sun.
“Since Star Trek began in 1966, I’ve never had to worry about where the next job was.”
