
Since the death of actor Leonard Nimoy tributes have been pouring in from colleagues and fans alike, and one such super fan the President of the United States himself has spoken out about his heartbreak at the loss.
Barack Obama released an official White House statement over his shock at the death of the Mr Spock actor, who’d been admitted to hospital earlier this week with chest pains and died on Friday.
In his statement, Obama revealed that he was in awe of the 83 year old Star Trek legend, and that when he met him for the first time he did so with the Vulcan salute.
